Appointments

Online Appointment Booking

The Village Surgery offers a safe and secure online appointment booking service for GP appointments through NHS App. Please see below how to register onto the NHS App or ask reception for further advice.

To successfully access GP services online via the NHS Wales App, patients must:

  • have a fully verified NHS login, and will require a valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or national ID card) to set one up
  • an email address that isn’t shared (it must be unique to that person)
  • be aged 16 or over

Any queries should be directed to the feedback channel within the app or any NHS login queries should be directed by the patient themselves to Help Centre Home (login.nhs.uk). Guidance on registering for NHS Login can be found at NHS login – NHS Wales App

Appointment only system

We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery, by calling into the Surgery or via NHS App (please ask at reception for details). All appointments are pre-booked but if you need to be seen and cannot wait for a routine appointment please contact the surgery in the morning to be allocated an emergency appointment.  You may be asked why you need an emergency appointment – this will allow us to navigate you to the most appropriate clinician or service.

We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 11am. Home visits take up much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen.
